El plan de este a\u00f1o fue extenso: <strong>1400 horas de tiempo de vuelo planificadas y 800 misiones<\/strong>; permitiendo que el personal militar se entrenara en combate a\u00e9reo a trav\u00e9s de operaciones combinadas. En estas misiones, diferentes naciones operan en escenarios de conflicto de manera integrada y cooperativa, promoviendo el intercambio de experiencias entre los miembros de las fuerzas a\u00e9reas participantes. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n internacional subraya la importancia de la cooperaci\u00f3n militar en un entorno de amenazas cada vez m\u00e1s complejas. CRUZEX ha sido comandado por la FAB desde 2002 y se considera un gran desaf\u00edo y oportunidad para el servicio y la naci\u00f3n, para demostrar su preparaci\u00f3n. Su importancia estrat\u00e9gica sigue siendo relevante, ya que la base sirve como un centro para la defensa a\u00e9rea y la preparaci\u00f3n operativa en la regi\u00f3n; estando relativamente cerca de \u00c1frica y el Caribe. Proporciona una plataforma para el entrenamiento, la vigilancia y la preparaci\u00f3n para misiones que involucran tanto la defensa nacional como la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional.
